Scott Schutte brings over 6 years of experience in renewable energy development, with a strong background spanning both wind and solar sectors across project acquisition, development, and management. Prior to joining CEP Solar, Scott served as Manager of Wind Development at The AES Corporation, where he spent nearly two years leading wind energy projects, a role he grew into after starting as an Associate Developer following AES’s acquisition of Platte River Energy Resources, where he worked as an Acquisition Manager focused on identifying and securing new energy opportunities. Earlier in his career, Scott built a foundation in project cost estimation and management, serving as an Estimator at Environmental Landworks Company and as a Cost Manager at Cumming Corporation.
