Our History
Virginia is a critical energy market in the United States, with robust policy support to meet rapidly growing demand for a new supply of renewable generation resources. CEP Solar was founded in 2020 by Tyson Utt and Richard Wright to focus on serving as a local partner to the Virginia clean energy market. With experience developing and building renewable projects in the Virginia market for over a decade, CEP Solar was built on the foundation of established and growing local relationships, and a commitment to participating in the market for the longer term, to begin developing a portfolio of scale-diversified solar and storage projects.
CEP is pleased to partner with Perennial Power Holdings, Inc. to originate and develop projects that support one of the fastest growing power markets in the United States.
