Tyson brings 20+ years of renewables development experience, with a background spanning project origination, development, construction, and operations as well as market policy, corporate operations, and power marketing. Prior to co-founding CEP, Tyson served as Eastern VP of Development at Apex Clean Energy where he managed a team responsible for the development of wind and solar assets across 11 states.

Tyson began his career in 2004 with Zilkha Renewable Energy, which was later acquired by Goldman Sachs and then EDPR before joining Apex in 2010. Tyson serves on the board of the Virginia Renewable Energy Alliance (VA-REA).
